Color and Texture: Vibrant orange. Medium to fast absorption.
Scent: Neutral, discreetly herbaceous/earthy.
About: Rosehip oil is nourishing, restorative, clarifying and brightening. The astringent quality of Rosehip oil enables it to deeply penetrate the skin, carrying along with it vitamins, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Gamma-linolenic acid protects the skin against environmental stressors. Vitamins A and C brighten and clear the complexion. Antioxidants lycopene and phytosteral help to restore devitalized skin and lock in moisture.
Rosehip seed oil absorbs easily, leaving skin moist and balanced without an oily finish. Recommended for mature skin types, the oil can be paired with our Rose Regenerative Facial Oil for added benefits.

I am currently using this in a blend of oils that I've read help imitate &/or regulate sebum (natural body oil). Used as a conditioner. So far my scalp isn't itching & raw. Used as a skin moisturizer. My eczema isn't as irritated & is healing. Hair is left feeling smooth & healthy after using standard gentle conditioner to get out any excess. Downside is that it doesn't seal hair as well as silicone conditioners. Upside is that there is no occlusive effect of silicones covering pores.
My blend is 1:14 for a usual essential oil blend.
I use 5 carriers:
•Grapeseed
•Rosehip
•Argan
•Jojoba
•Squalane (plant derived)
I use 8 essential oils:
•Oregano
•Rosemary
•Cinnamon Bark
•Thyme Red
•Clove
•Tea Tree
•Peppermint
•Rose Absolute

My French esthetician recommended this product. It works well for my skin type which is sensitive and tends to be red. It is a good base before putting on moisturizer. Although it is not necessary to use additional moisturizer in the summer. I highly recommend this product.
