How to Use Essential Oil Blends

There are three primary ways to use essential oil blends. Here’s a quick guide to each method:

1. Diffusers

Essential oil diffusers work by dispersing tiny droplets of essential oil into the air so they can be inhaled and provide deep, healing aromatherapy benefits. They come in different styles, ranging from small personal diffusers to large ones that can scent an entire room — so you’ll need to do a bit of research to find the best fit for your needs. 2. Topical Application

When applying essential oils to the skin, you should generally use a carrier oil to dilute the essences and prevent skin irritation.
