I’ve been using essential oils for years, and lavender is one of the most versatile oils in my experience. I’ve diffused it, taken it orally, and used it topically. When I’ve taken it orally in the past, I’ve made my own capsules using a carrier oil of my choice. However, having these Pranarōm Aromaforce mini capsules on hand cuts the work of having to make the capsules myself, which is convenient. This bottle contains 60 mini capsules, and each capsule contains 37.5 milligrams of lavender flower oil. The instructions recommend taking 1-3 capsules per day. I’ve only ever taken up to 2 per day, at separate times, and I’ve found this to be sufficient. I take these to aid with stress management. When I’m feeling anxious or overwhelmed, that’s when I’ll take a capsule. I’ve also taken them at bedtime, but just to note, I wouldn’t say that they help me fall asleep rather they serve to promote a sense of calm and relaxation before bed. I’m making that distinction because I don’t want to mislead anyone into thinking they’re equivalent to the effects produced by sleep aid pills.Overall, I’ve enjoyed trying these capsules. They’re easier to carry around rather than my actual bottle of lavender essential oil. I’m also very picky about the essential oils I use, so after learning that these are both USDA organic and Ecocert certified, it provides peace of mind regarding the quality of the oil this company sources.
