Why do essential oils need to be diluted in a fatty oil for internal use? Because essential oils are hydrophobic, ingesting them with water is not a safe or optimally effective method. Instead of being carried down to your digestive system with the water, they cling to the first fatty substance they come in contact with – your oral and your esophageal tissue. Both of these are very delicate, and should not be exposed repeatedly to the highly concentrated nature of essential oil.

For adults 18 years and up, take 1 mini-cap 1-3 times per day, with a glass of water, or as recommended by a healthcare professional. Do not exceed 5 mini-caps per day.
