To enjoy Lemon Verbena aromatically, diffuse 1-2 drops in an ultrasonic diffuser or dilute in a carrier oil and apply to the wrists and neck.
Lemon Verbena is moderately sensitizing to the skin and so should not be applied to hypersensitive skin. Do not use with young children.
Maximum adult dilution: 1%; 6 drops per ounce.
This essential oil has mild photosensitizing effect and should not be applied to exposed skin up to 4 hours before direct sun exposure.
Usage precautions
For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use while pregnant or breastfeeding. Always dilute. If irriation occurs, discontinue use. To remove essential oil, use plant oil (olive).
