Peppermint: Bold & Refreshing

Peppermint’s cool, revitalizing nature is refreshing for both mind & body. From skincare digestive support to aiding focus and clarity, the applications are endless! Here are a few of our favorites for everyday health wellness:

Diffusion: To boost mental clarity & relieve occasional stomach upset, diffuse several drops of Peppermint in an ultrasonic diffuser or rub a drop between both palms & breathe deeply.

Skincare: Soothe occasional blemishes, insect bites, redness & irritation by applying 1-2 drops of Peppermint in a pump of carrier oil or moisturizer. Avoid application near the eyes.

Digestive Support: Add a few drops of Peppermint to your favorite moisturizer or carrier oil and massage in a circular motion into the abdomen and lower back.

Tip: Peppermint is excellent for keeping pesky bugs away! Try applying several drops to a cotton ball or piece of wood and place in the area of concern. For a spray, blend 10-20 drops with water in a 1oz spray bottle. Apply daily as needed – this is also great for protecting plants!

A sunny, fresh essential oil to clean your home and lift your spirit! Lemon’s bright personality and purifying power are great for diffusion and DIY cleaning products. Organic Cleaning – For a countertop/surface spray, combine 12-15 drops Lemon, 1 tsp unscented dish soap & 1 oz water in a spray bottle. Add 20-30 drops to a cup of baking soda for a surface scrub. Diffusion – Add 8-12 drops Lemon to your ultrasonic diffuser or simmer gently with 1/2 C water on your stove. Excellent paired with Ginger, Rose Geranium, or other citruses, florals & spices. Steam Shower – A bright way to start your morning! Add drops of Lemon directly around the base of your shower before turning on the water. Did you know? Lemon, like most cold expressed citrus essential oils, should not be used neat on the skin before exposure to sunlight.
